The Challenge
La Jolla's coastal environment is hard on paint. On this project, the existing exterior showed chalking, fading, hairline stucco cracking, and peeling at the trim typical of sun- and salt-exposed stucco homes in the area.
Our Process
Walkthrough & assessment — We inspected the exterior for stucco cracks, wood rot at trim and fascia, and surface prep needs before quoting.
Prep work — Power washing to remove salt residue and chalking, scraping and sanding loose paint, caulking gaps, and spot-priming bare substrate.
